My Ragdoll Kids

I, like other "cat people", consider myself born a "cat person".  I have been so enriched by all the whiskered friends I have met on my life journey. I have truly felt every moment of time spent with "my furry children" to have been so precious.  Last year, to my great joy and delight I "found" the Ragdoll breed.  In the words of my vet "they are the most phenomenal animals".  I have encountered some of the characteristics I list here in all of my "kitty kids" but my two Ragdoll's (Molly and Tommy aged 8 months) have displayed ALL of these characteristics.  Large, muscular, talkative, relaxed, intelligent, gentle, exceptionally affectionate, responsive, healthy, bright eyed and bushy tailed, playful, companionable, friendly, beautiful, luxurious, inquisitive, always ready for a game.

I am so excited that my Molly made it onto the front cover of the Ragdoll issue!  We keep telling Molly what a star she is, I think she knows she was born to be beautiful because she looks at us with those big blue eyes and preens herself!  Her brother, Thomas, is just the opposite of her but he has such a gorgeous cuddly character and is so laid back.  He doesn't purr during the day but Mama Mia when the lights get turned off at night, that's when the romancing begins.  He sleeps on my pillow and his face slips down during the night and I have often woken up thinking that there are spiders  crawling  across my face but they are Tommy's whiskers! They truly are the most magnificent friends one could ever wish for.

I am a quilt maker and my two love helping as you can see!
